You're invite to our district’s Rotary Foundation Celebration on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Novella’s in New Paltz, New York. Together we will be celebrating the impact of The Rotary Foundation and the incredible work of Rotarians throughout our District. Having you and your club join us for this special event would be wonderful.
During this event, we are going to recognize our Rotarians and clubs for their giving efforts this past year. Together, when we give to the Foundation, we are creating a better world here in our community and around the world.

In addition to recognizing our clubs’ support of our Rotary Foundation we will also be recognizing some of our district Rotarians who have shown exemplary leadership for humanitarian service and personal support of our Rotary Foundation. If your Club knows a District 7210 Rotarian who personifies the qualities described below, please submit their name, along with a summary of why your Club believes this individual has earned this recognition, as soon as possible, but by no later than October 3, 2025, to District Governor Beau O'Loendorf at beau.oloendorf@gmail.com.
Tansukh Dorawala Humanitarian Award
The nominee for the Tansukh Dorawala Humanitarian Award should be a District 7210 Rotarian who has provided exemplary service to humanity through their actions in Rotary, and especially in using and/or promoting the use of the resources of The Rotary Foundation, including Global Grants and/or District Grants. Recent past recipients of this award include Louis Turpin of Rhinebeck, Edward Frank & Howard Goldin of Spring Valley, and Susan Doyle of Poughkeepsie-Arlington.
Jeffrey Keahon Foundation Award
The nominee for the Jeffrey Keahon Award should be a District 7210 Rotarian who has supported the Rotary Foundation through their actions. The nominee may have actively promoted the Foundation in their Club, may have organized fundraisers for The Rotary Foundation, or may have promoted, supported and/or assisted the Foundation at the District level. Recent past recipients of this award include Ed Wiley of Warwick Valley, Carl Bonitz, Jr. of Wallkill East, and Paul & Maureen Doherty of LaGrange Sunrise.
Dr. Samuel Ross Peace Award
The nominee for the Dr. Samuel Ross Peace Award should be a District 7210 Rotarian who has supported The Rotary Foundation's commitment to Peace and Conflict Resolution through actively addressing the underlying causes of conflict, including poverty, inequity, ethnic tension, lack of access to education, and unequal distribution of resources. The recent recipients of this award include Dr. William J. Bassett of Wallkill East, David Ives of Rhinebeck, and Pascal Guirma & Robert Rich of New Paltz Rotary.
