District Governor Elect - Carrie Hernandez (2026-2027)
Carrie initially joined Patterson Rotary in June 2015 and transferred to Brewster Rotary in 2021. She has held many positions in both clubs, including being a Two-time club president, Secretary, Assistant Treasurer and Interact Advisor. She has also participated on numerous District committees; Communications, Membership, Public Image, and Events.
She was Assistant Governor of Region 7 from 2019-2022 and 2023-2024, District Executive Secretary from 2020-2023 and currently is District Interact Co-Chair. Notably, Carrie's mother, Penny Byron, served as our District Governor in 2014-15.
Carrie lives in Brewster with her 4 boys, Michael, Jaime, Tristan and Landon, along with Michael’s black lab puppy Watson, and Jaime’s tuxedo cats Harley and Quinn. She has worked in the customer service field for 25 years. She also volunteers with Relay for Life of Eastern Putnam and Brewster High School PTSA.
Carrie is looking forward to serving as District Governor and is excited to make new friends, catch up with old ones, and all of the fun to be had as a Rotarian.
District Governor Nominee -Todd Bowen (2027-2028)
Todd is a dedicated professional committed to building stronger communities, both through his work and his service. Todd graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School in 2019 and then graduated from Mount Saint Mary College in 2023, where he earned a BA in Human Services, equipping him with the skills and knowledge to support individuals and communities in meaningful ways.
Currently, he works for Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County as their Senior Project Director, where he focuses on creating sustainable housing solutions and improving the lives of local families. His passion for service started early, when he was an Interactor in high school for four years, serving two of those years as Interact Club President. That commitment continued into his time with the Rotary Club of Wappingers Falls, where he has been an active member for over five years and has had the honor to serve as a Two-time Club President, also making him

Within Rotary District 7210 he is the District Public Image Chair, Interact Co-Chair, District Executive Secretary, Region 4 Assistant Governor Assistant and sits on the membership committee.
Beyond his professional and service commitments, his family is at the heart of everything he does. Todd is happily married to his wife, Hayley, and they share their home with Sugar, a 1-year-old rescue puppy whom they adopted 10 months ago. Balancing work, service, and family, Todd strives to lead with integrity, purpose, and a strong commitment to giving back to the community.
